The Benefits of Using a Bagger Attachment
Ways that a bagger can be useful to your lawncare routine:
Can help with the aesthetic appeal of your yard:
- Keeps your yard looking clean
- Removes large clumps of grass
- If there are fungi and/or diseases growing in your grass, bagging the grass can help stop the spread and allow the grass to heal quicker.
For safety, the bagger helps with:
- Prevents debris from flying around. This can save you from serious injuries or having to pay for a broken window.
- If you suffer from allergies, this can help lower the allergens flying around in the air
- The bagger allows the grass clippings to be sucked up, so they don’t get blown into the roadway. This protects motorists from losing traction on freshly cut grass.
How can you use or dispose of yoru clippings once hte bagger gets full?
Since grass can be a good natural fertilizer, there are several different options to “reuse” your clippings.
- Use as a natural compost
- Turn it into mulch
- Add it to your raised garden beds
- Grass cycle. Many states have regulations that prevent the disposal of lawn clippings
As mentioned above, some states prevent the disposal of lawn clippings. Please check your state’s disposal laws if you do not want to recycle your clippings, you can drop off your bags at designated locations in your city. If your state doesn’t require you to drop off the bagged clippings, you can simply dispose of them in your regular trash.
