Beat the Summer Heat

It’s that time of the year again; record breaking temperatures, high humidity and heat warnings. With "feels like" temperatures exceeding near or over 100 for many in the south, whether you are working in the field or just trying to stay cool inside, we’ve got some tips and tricks to help you survive this southern summer.
If you are working outside this summer, we have the perfect products to help you get the job done and stay cool while doing it. From your tractor to your mower, there are several canopy options out there to help keep you in the shade while working. If you are looking for a more serious cool down, maybe consider purchasing a John Deere cab tractor to get the job done all while in the comfort of an air conditioned cab.
If you have to be outside, try to dress in lightweight, loose clothing, drink plenty of water and always be sure to wear sunscreen to protect your skin. Try to wait until the early morning or evening hours to complete your outdoor activities and take plenty of break to cool off.
We hope everyone has a safe and cool summer! Remember to think SunSouth for all your summer John Deere needs!
